The goal of this project was to choose a piece of oration from a film, song, audio book, or your own recording, and create an animated short where the type-style and motion reflect and enhance the meaning of the words. It also has to be around 2 minutes in length.

 

I decided to do a song because I love music and I knew that would be an enjoyable process. I chose the song ‘Astrothunder’ by Travis Scott based on the short length of the song and the lyrics being very descriptive which would allow for some interesting visuals. The color scheme is also based on the colors used for the Astroworld typography.
